Very clean, nice colonial style, we had a lot of fun in the zocalo with live music, walking distance to the malecon was perfect for my kids and parents, highly recommended for a real Veracruz experience.

Great place to stay clean, good service no noice and the attention was excellent.

In addition to Hotel Veracruz, I have used at least six Veracruz/Boca del Rio hotels. Without doubt, this is one of the best of MANY options, especially if you want the central, historic area and the famous portales and the square with its free entertainment. The hotel standards are high, including the highest level of cleanliness and service. After multiple stays, I can report NO problems with Hotel Veracruz. I love going downstairs to and excellent breakfast in Son Jarocho without going outside or to the lobby, and the business center is one of the best. Highly recommended, and I look forward to staying there again. Be careful with online reservations. Once, after reserving two rooms when traveling with a friend, I arrived to no reservation at all. (I had a printed copy of the reservation.) The website seemed to be the official one, so I don't know. Fortunately, rooms were available. The front desk said it would have been better to call.
